William O. Williams, II is a member of Frost Brown Todd LLC’s Insurance Industry group, focusing his practice in the areas of Health and Insurance Regulation. Bill brings over 22 years of experience as in-house counsel representing numerous licensed life and health insurance and risk-bearing entities in administrative and regulatory matters before state and federal insurance and health agencies. He also has significant experience managing major functions of an in-house law department, including building and maintaining systems to monitor change in law that impact insurance companies, their products and operations, systems of control over marketing and advertising materials, compliance programs to oversee sales operations, including employed or captive agents as well as independently contracted brokers, conducting multi-state regulatory research on all issues affecting insurance companies, and maintaining repositories of legal work product, research and contracts. Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in 1986 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1992. He is admitted to practice law before state and federal courts in Indiana and an AV® rated lawyer in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He lives in Carmel, Indiana (a suburb of Indianapolis) with his wife and son. Mr. Williams is a member of the Board of Directors of the Indiana Repertory Theatre, Inc. in Indianapolis Indiana, and the Board of Trustees of Midwest Academy of Indiana, Inc., a private school in Carmel, Indiana that provides a progressive education to children in grades 4 through 12. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Alpha Graduate Chapter of the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) and the House Corporation of the Lambda Iota Chapter of the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) at Purdue University, both in West Lafayette, Indiana.
